The Different Breed ® Partner Referral Program rewards individuals and organisations who introduce event organisers and venues to our platform. By referring new customers, you can earn commission while supporting our mission to make events more inclusive and accessible.

Referral Details

Incentive

To encourage engagement with our partners, referred customers will receive an additional 5% discount on any plan for their first year when they enter your referral code at checkout. This discount is a one-time offer and is on top of any existing annual discounts offered to customers.

Additionally, we will:

• Feature you as a partner on our website, highlighting your services and directing visitors to your preferred website.

• Where possible, facilitate introductions to potential clients within our existing customer base.

• Provide enhanced visibility for partners within our higher commission structure by featuring them as a recommended supplier.

Commission Structure

Our commission structure is divided into two levels:

Standard Commission Structure

This applies to all referral partners.

Enhanced Commission Structure

Partners who refer 10 or more new customers to our paid premium plans will be eligible for an increased commission.

Please also note:

• Commission is a one-time payment based on the referred customer's initial subscription.

• Existing customers already on premium plans are not eligible to refer others.

Length Of Commitment

We do not impose any minimum or maximum commitment terms for participation in the referral program. You are free to join or leave at any time.

We operate an open-door policy, meaning you can reach out to us at any point to provide feedback, discuss your participation, or explore further opportunities to collaborate.

How This Works

1. Sign Up As A Referral Partner

• Apply via the partner form on our website.

• We will schedule a brief introductory call to learn more about your business and ensure alignment with our values.

• If accepted, we will provide you with a unique referral ID to share with your network.

2. Sharing Your Referral ID

• Referral partners can distribute their Referral Partner ID to event organisers who would benefit from our accessibility solutions.

• This ID must be entered at checkout when a new customer subscribes to a premium plan.

3. Subscription Eligibility

• Referral IDs cannot be used by:

  • Customers who already have a premium subscription.

  • Customers who have previously used another referral code.

• The referral only applies to 6-month and 12-month plans (not monthly subscriptions).

• The referral is valid only if the referred client completes a full subscription payment.

4. Tracking & Verification

• The Different Breed system logs the Referral Partner ID when a customer subscribes to a premium plan.

• Referral status and earnings will be tracked via a Google Sheet updated monthly.

• You can add prospective referrals to this sheet, and we will confirm once they have subscribed.

• The sheet will display:

  • Number of customers who used your referral code.

  • Number of active subscriptions.

  • Estimated payout amount.

5. Referral Fee & Payment Process

• Referral partners can earn up to 10% of the subscription fee (capped at £100 per referral).

• Payments are subject to a 1-month hold period to prevent chargebacks.

• Payments are made via bank transfer using the details provided during sign-up.

Additional Terms

• Self-referrals or referrals to businesses owned by the partner are not permitted.

• Referral IDs must be entered at the time of sign-up—retroactive referrals will not be accepted.

• Payouts are processed in GBP (£) and may be subject to applicable processing fees.

• Different Breed ® reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time.
